Drive Alliance Pte. Ltd. (operating as "Drive Alliance", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore ("PDPA") and all applicable codes of practice, including guidelines established by the General Insurance Association of Singapore ("GIA").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and process your personal data when you use our website, apply for or use our driver membership program, request insurance quotes, or interact with our partner ecosystem.

1. Collection of Personal Data

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect personal data about you directly from you, through automated site interactions, or via authorized third parties. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Identity & Contact Details: Full name, NRIC/FIN (where permitted by law), phone number, email address, residential address, marital status, and occupation.

  • Vehicle Details: Vehicle registration number, LTA access code, vehicle make/model, engine/chassis numbers, manufacture year, and driving experience.

  • Insurance & Financial Data: Driving history, NCD (No Claim Discount) records, past claims history, current insurer details, and payment/billing transaction data.

  • Membership & Service Data: Membership ID, redemption records, workshop servicing history, accident/excess records, and incident footage/imagery.

2. Purposes for Collection, Use, and Disclosure

We collect, use, and disclose your personal data for the following core business and operational purposes:

  1. Membership Administration: To process, activate, and manage your driver membership account, issue member perks/vouchers, process renewals, and administer driver privileges.

  2. Insurance & Financial Quotes: To share relevant vehicle and driving profiles with our network of GIA-licensed insurance partners and financial institutions (up to 10 quotes) to obtain, compare, and present motor, commercial fleet, and public liability insurance products as requested by you.

  3. Ecosystem Partner Collaboration: To share and exchange personal data with our primary automotive and servicing partner, Automotive Repair Centre Pte Ltd ("ARC"), as well as participating merchant partners, to facilitate workshop appointments, claims processing, accident excess waivers, solar film tinting, bodywork, and ongoing vehicle maintenance.

  4. Customer Support & Communication: To respond to your queries, process requests, send operational updates, and provide emergency roadside or claims guidance.

  5. Marketing & Promotions (Consent-Based): To notify you of exclusive member deals, fuel discounts, workshop promotions, and partner rewards where you have provided explicit consent or where permitted by law.

  6. Regulatory Compliance: To comply with all applicable Singapore laws, regulations, GIA guidelines, tax reporting obligations, or law enforcement requests.

3. Disclosure to Third Parties & Partners

We do not sell your personal data. To fulfill the services outlined above, we may disclose your personal data to carefully vetted third parties, subject to strict confidentiality and data protection agreements:

  • Automotive Repair Centre Pte Ltd (ARC): For total servicing integration, repair history tracking, warranty management, and fulfillment of member discounts.

  • GIA-Licensed Insurers & Representatives: For the specific purpose of underwriting, quotation generation, policy issuance, and insurance claims processing.

  • Third-Party Service Providers: Cloud hosting providers, IT vendors, payment gateways, marketing automation platforms, and customer communication channels.

  • Regulatory Authorities: Government bodies, the Land Transport Authority (LTA), Singapore Police Force, or courts where legally required.

4. Consent & Withdrawal of Consent

By providing your personal data to us, submitting a quote request, or registering for our membership program, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as set out in this Policy.

  • Withdrawing Consent: You may withdraw your consent for any or all purposes at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (DPO) in writing.

  • Effect of Withdrawal: Please note that if you withdraw consent for essential purposes (such as membership management or insurance processing), we may no longer be able to maintain your membership or secure insurance quotes on your behalf.

5. Accuracy, Security & Retention

  • Accuracy: We rely on you to ensure that the personal data you provide is accurate, complete, and updated.

  • Data Security: We implement technical, physical, and administrative measures—including SSL encryption, secure access controls, and restricted staff access—to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

  • Retention: We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the operational purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal, tax, or GIA regulatory record-keeping rules. Once no longer required, data is securely destroyed or anonymized.

6. Access and Correction Requests

Under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to your personal data in our possession or control, or request corrections to your personal record.

To submit a request, please contact our Data Protection Officer. In accordance with PDPA guidelines, we will respond to your request within 30 calendar days. A reasonable administrative fee may apply for complex historical access requests.
